MCT-13 Review
It was the first day of school then, I don’t have any idea on how to start to get along with these people I do not know. My first impression about the class is a question...
“If this is a block section then why aren’t they close with each other?”
I am Myvn Fernandez, a transfer student and now a part of Mass Communication Technology Block 13 at La VerdadChristian College – Caloocan starting this 2nd semester of school year 2012-2013.
It was nice to know that the following days, some people get along with me, the reason why I started feeling comfortable enough to get along with them.
It was KC whom I knew first. She was nice, quiet and a sweet girl of MCT-13. She always go the library withIralynAguilar and Daisy Ilano. These people are those you would often see at the library, reading books and doing their assignments. These people are the ones always sitting in the second row with Charmaine Launico, Grezel Jade Pabrigaras, a girl who always share her Candy magazine whenever we have vacant classes. It was Levi Malig-on, our happy Christian classmate who liked checking out Grezel’s mag.
If you would start asking me whom often I get along with, the answer is with Erika Nikka Brondial, the most beautiful girl of the class. When she smiles, her eyes seem to fade, but it’s cute! Me, Erika and Levi always sit in the last row, left side of the room.
One time, when we’re checking out Grezel’s magazines, Billy Estacio, the “naughty boy”, borrowed some from us. I could see him sitting beside six other people: Wency del Rosario, Alchie Dimasacat, Roniel Tamayo, Aaron Bautista, Mark Viola, and Joshua Libao. For me they are The “maangas”, “quiet #1”, “quiet #2”, “The President” and the “quiet #3” boys, respectively. They’re always sitting in the last row at the right side of the room opposite to us. They laugh about pictures which don’t seem to be laughable for some people. I don’t know, they always give second meanings to different stuffs. Kiddin!
In front of these people are Abegail Sarmiento, Karla Hijara, Marie Alyssa Dincol, Anna Medina andElissaTubice. I believe that these people are quiet, but they sure are smart! They are very participative people and they do tasks they are assigned to.
Located in the first row left side are Bryan Poro, “the business man”, Mischelle Sayritan and Gelymei Borela,, Jennifer Enriquez and Shermay Aguilar. These people are always active in recitation. In the right side opposite to Poro’s, I can see Rholand Austero MCT-13’s “song bird”, Ghiesa Mae dela Victoria and Erlinda Quimba the “KNC workers”.
MCT-13 then was very comfortable with each other and happy but happier when Nerissa De Vera andVeronica Amado entered the class.
As time goes by, I have observed that these 31 students of MCT-13 value each other. It was never a day without people eating their lunch with their classmates, never a day without people laughing and smiling and sharing their happy thoughts with us, all of these happenning inside the room.
During the prelims, all people are doing...basically...nothing. I mean, it’s not yet those “heavy days” each semesters have so the tag “pa easy-easy” can be applied to us.
During the midterm, this is the time, I can see that everybody’s been very-very-very busy doing different requirements to be submitted for like only a week! This is the same time where some of my classmates cry due pressure, time-management and all other things. But the most uh-mazing part of the midterm is that this was also the same time when we championed and received the biggest trophy from the celebration of the Christian Living Week because we gained a lot of awards!
This made our section happier and united! All of us was overwheled and very thankful that’s why we’ve decided to set our thanksgiving day. Unfortunately, it was delayed for 3 weeks but still, we had our thanksgiving day last February 23, 2013!
Few weeks before, we joined the red cross funrun. Although everybody was tired, after the run still we spend time for picture taking because of course, this event made our team memorable.

Another event that made our block united is when we visited children of Hospicio de San Jose. it was when Joana Malicdem saved me from something unexpected. well, everybody was happy and thankful to GOD for that wonderful thing that happenned because it was really a day to remember! We make friends with these special children, played with them and laugh with them.
Although Kuya Alchie, Wency and ate Ghiesa’s out of the group nowadays, still they’re a part of MCT-13.
Now during finals, even though there’s less time where we could spend for each other, still in our hearts we know that with GOD’s help, we are united.
Our section’s known to be quiet, simple but terrible!

Problems are always there. Whatever we do to make it all solved, they are still there. There are times that problems are giving us too much pressure that makes our life so difficult. Sometimes, we feel like we will not going to make it. And sometimes, we feel like we will be giving up. There are times in our life that we want to quit. When we are by ourselves or with our close friends, some of us slowly cry. But every day in our life, we always remember that there is someone giving us strength to help us overcome these challenges, struggles and problems. There is always a great God. That’s why, we, the MCT 13 students of La Verdad Christian College Caloocan are giving thanks to Him.

We know that not all of us will make it through. Maybe some of us will be remove and will not experience more. We are peered pressured but still, we want to give thanks and praise His Name not until the end of our scholarship but until we go to His heaven. We hope that He will still continue giving the love that He is giving to us. We know that words are not enough to express how great He is. And we also know that singing praises to Him is not enough to give as a return, but it is the only thing that we can do. We are just small and useless humans, but despite of all that we feel important, because we feel His love and kindness every day of our life.
We are glad, so blessed and very grateful to our Almighty Father. In His willing, we will continue to praise and glorify His Name. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

February 15, 2013- New Soul, New Brethren, New Personalities and A new baby born in faith.
This is the day of the three of our classmates. They are Nerissa De Vera, Erika Brondial and Iralyn Aguilar. They are our new sister in Christ and a new sister in faith. We can't explained how glad we are that they found the true gospel of God. We are so very glad. This is day of their baptism. This is day of their new start, new life and This is day that God give them a chance to start listening, learning, serving and pursuing together with God. Walk in faith with God.
We are very thankful of God for every seconds, every minutes and every day that God gave them chance to think
.
Despite of so many struggles, and problems but still they continued and they finished the Doctrines and the Baptism.
